| The provincial government does not regulate
seniors' living residences. It is, therefore, important to ensure
that the residence you choose delivers on all its service commitments.
All of Chartwell Seniors Housing REIT seniors' living
residences - including Rideau Place on-the-River - are strong supporters
and approved members of the Ontario Residential Care Association
(ORCA) which is the provincial body that monitors industry standards.
In fact, during it's last survey Rideau Place was awarded the highest
level of certification.

All seniors'
living residences are not equal. ORCA member residences must undergo
rigorous evaluations to ensure standards for safety and security,
recreation, meals, housekeeping, building maintenance and personal
care. Only ORCA member residences are monitored to ensure that provincially
they comply with industry standards.
