Dear Residents, Spring has finally sprung! We’ll be taking full advantage of this gorgeous weather by doing almost everything we can outdoors including activities, tea time and even concerts. We’ll also be celebrating the Ottawa Tulip festival with not only a Tulip Tour but our very own Tulip Tea. Some activities to look forward to in May include: Strength training program with Ken Grant, Ottawa Public Library Homebound Services, Exercise Classes, Karate with Pierre, Roman Catholic Mass, Anglican Eucharist Service Holy Communion, Movies, Pétanque-Atout, Yoga, Sand Bags, Bingo, Tai Chi, Bumper Pool, Pictionary, Bridge, Scattegories, Trivia, Some New Activities to look forward to include: Croquet, Bocci Ball, Yahtzee, Baking, Shuffleboard, Par Two Golf, Lawn Darts, Board Game Afternoons, Animal Companions, 5th Avenue Jewelry Collections, Literature Presentation by George Laidlaw, and our Outdoor Walking Group. Musical presentations this month include: Smile Theatre’s “The Twilight Cabaret”, Charles Gregoire, Piano with Yvon, Tulip Tea with Susan and Jean-Guy Bernard, Mr. Heaslip’s Classical Music Appreciation “Three Superstars in Berlin Part II”, Mother’s Day Tea with Thomas Brown, Piano Bar with Noel, “Le Choeur des Aines” Choir, Friday Social with Andre Gareau, and our Birthday Tea with “Harmonie” Scheduled trips for May include: Lunch Outings to “Le Cordon Bleu”, and “Pilos” Restaurant.
